Panasonic Avionics
Panasonic Avionics - Pleasanton, California
Good Wood collaborated with IDA Architecture and designers Paul Wylde and Henry Hiltner to craft and install an employee break area for Panasonic Avionics. The kitchen interior’s simple island and two floating shelves are crafted from designer white laminate. The cabinets are solid white oak, and both the island and the cabinets have low-maintenance solid surface tops. The break area was transformed by four plywood and solid white oak banquettes with surrounds that were fabricated and installed to create alcove seating around two solid white oak table tops. A solid white oak credenza on wheels is the foundation for the break room TV and is finished in a custom white oil wax. A mammoth bookcase wall measuring nine feet by twenty feet is the largest single piece Good Wood has ever built to date. Two solid white oak conference tables at 10' and 16' with powder coated steel legs and custom cutouts for AV equipment round out the space that is perfectly suited for both productivity and downtime.
